Mr. Dewing served as the Subject Matter Expert in Computer Forensics to the Intelligence Systems Support Office under the Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Technical Collection and Analysis, where he was assigned to liaise at the national level on matters of Technical Exploitation. Over the course of an accomplished career, Mr. Dewing has excelled in senior positions within the federal government, the department of defense, and the corporate sector. Mr. Dewing earned the Secretary of Defense Value Engineering Award for inventing and fielding a technical exploitation capability of National Significance. Mr. Dewing was recruited by the Federal Bureau of Investigation as their Technical Lead within the Counter Terrorism Divisions Digital Media Exploitation Lab. As an Army Special Forces Sergeant Major, Mr. Dewing spearheaded the formation of joint interagency teams of digital exploitation experts in support of the Intelligence Community. His efforts resulted in the creation of national standards in the conduct of support to Intelligence Operations, which compelled agencies to build like capabilities based upon Mr. Dewing’s successes. Mr. Dewing is a graduate of the U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy and is a retired Army Special Forces, Sergeant Major. He earned a Bachelor Degree from The George Washington University in Integrated Information, Science & Technology, is Federally Certified in Computer Forensics from the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center and holds multiple technical certifications in the field of Digital Forensics & Technical Exploitation.
Mr. Hudson joined our team after working in the British SAS and commercial industry providing subject matter expertise in information security, TSCM, and cyber eavesdropping vulnerabilities. Mr. Hudson has led TSCM teams for over sixteen years in both offensive and defensive roles, significantly broadening his understanding of the technical and operational factors necessary to mitigate risk of a deployed eavesdropping device.
During his military service as a senior Non-Commissioned Officer, Mr. Hudson was appointed as Chief of the TSCM Cell in UK SAS Special Forces. Mr. Hudson was also professionally trained as a Radio Technician for the elite Royal Signals. Mr. Hudson is an expert on subjects including Antenna theory, Propagation, RF Principles, Advanced Modulation Techniques, and Electrical Engineering. He also maintains an active full membership with the Espionage Research Institute International (ERII) and participates in multiple community forums to monitor advances in counter espionage capabilities and techniques.
Mr. Shellenberger joined our team from the Federal Bureau of Investigation to take the lead as our Operations Director. Prior to joining TecX, Mr. Shellenberger served as an FBI Special Agent, with twenty-seven years on the elite Hostage Rescue Team (HRT). He has led organizations and operations in excess of 1,100 personnel and was integral in the development of crisis response and tactical leadership as a founding member of the Critical Incident Response Group (CIRG). Mr. Shellenberger earned a Bachelor of Administration from Rollins College and brings over three decades of Subject Matter Expert knowledge and experience to the team.
